On 25.08.2016 the congress of the Swiss museums with the topic "Museumszukünfte - wir haben die Wahl (The future of museums - we have a choice)" was held at the Technopark in Zürich (SUI). 

Myriam Neuhaus presented at the congress the project "Museomix - People make Museums".  

In 2016 Museomix will be held in Switzerland at two places at the same time: in Basel (SUI) and in Nyon (SUI). From 11-13.11.2016 in Basel at the Museum of History Basel and in Nyon at the Château Nyon, Musée du Léman and the Musée Romain.

What is the museum of the future? What formats attract new audiences? How to involve more visitors? "Museomix" is considering the public's view of the museum and is creating new accesses to museums and their collections. For 72 hours, the museum becomes a laboratory of ideas where young talents from design, computer, science, culture and mediation develop functional prototypes and then present them to the public.

Myriam Neuhaus supports the coordinator of Museomix 2016 Basel in realising the event and supports the association Museomix CH in establishing a professional organisational structure.
