Max E. Ammann was Director of the World Cup Jumping from 1978 to 2003. With network4events (former Editions Hippiques) he was responsible for the rules and regulations; he did the contract negotiations with the organisers, the sponsors and the TV stations. He supervised the financial aspects of the project and took care of the relations to the World Cup sponsor Volvo. He was also responsible for the media and public relations and was the contact to the Jumping riders.
