The exhibition "Collecting Worlds - Contemporary International Outsider Art - The Korine and Max E. Ammann Collection" will be shown at the Art Museum Metropole Lille - Musée LAM in Villeneuve d'Ascq (FRA) from 14.02.2012 until 13.05.2012.

Over 350 works from about 120 artists from the Korine and Max E. Ammann Collection are shown at the exhibition. Works from well-known artists as Adolf Wölfli, Scottie Wilson or Aloïse, a selection of Swiss Naives as well as newly discovered artists are giving a interesting overview on Outsider Art.

Korine and Max E. Ammann are enthusiastic collectors of Art Brut and Outsider Art. Their collection covers today over 5000 works from artists all over the world.

On occassion of the exhibition a publication "Collecting Worlds - Contemporary International Outsider Art" was realised and published. 

The exhibition was shown at the Kunstmuseum Thurgau, Kartause Ittingen (SUI) in 2011, stops now in Villeneuve d'Ascq (FRA) and will travel to Erfurt (GER), Sables d'Olonne (FRA) and other museums in Europe.
