During three days the Stade de Suisse Wankdorf in Bern (SUI) was inaugurated. 

30.07.2005: Opening Ceremony

The celebrations started on Saturday afternoon in front of the stadium. Various artists and bands entertained the public. Exhibitions on the history of football and and many animations were offered. 

The official speech by Federal Councillor Samuel Schmid and other protagonists of the Stade de Suisse Wankdorf leaded directly to the opening show. A 70-minute multimedia show of lights, sounds, images and acrobatics telling the history of football was performed by hundreds of artists.

A concert at the stadiums court completed the first day of the festivities.

Ralph Ammann was working as Head of Events and Marketing at Stade de Suisse Nationalstadion AG. In this function he supported the external project manager in the realisation of the event.
