World Cup Jumping: Season 1984/1985

In season 1984/1985 the World Cup Jumping had 7 leagues with a total of 55 competitions in 15 countries. The top placed of the leagues met from 17.-21.04.1985 for the World Cup Final in Berlin (GER).

Western European League: Frédéric Cottier (FRA) - Flambeau C
North American League - East Coast: Joe Fargis (USA) - Touch of Class / Herban
North American League - West Coast: Hap Hansen (USA) - Maybe
North Amercan League - Canada: Ian Millar (CAN) - Big Ben
South American League - South: André Johannpeter (BRA) - Cortino Joter
Australien - Pacific League: Kevin Bourke (AUS) - Touraliady / Grey Ole
New Zealand - Pacific League: Allan Goodall (NZL) - Double Brown Skud

Max E. Ammann was Director of the World Cup Jumping from 1978 to 2003. With network4events (former Editions Hippiques) he was responsible for the rules and regulations; he did the contract negotiations with the organisers, the sponsors and the TV stations. He supervised the financial aspects of the project and took care of the relations to the World Cup sponsor Volvo. He was responsible for the media and public relations and was the contact to the Jumping riders.
