World Cup Jumping: Season 1997/1998

In season 1997/1998 the World Cup Jumping had 13 leagues with a total of 115 competitions in 41 countries. The top placed of the leagues met from 15.-19.04.1998 for the World Cup Final in Helsinki (FIN).

Max E. Ammann was Director of the World Cup Jumping from 1978 to 2003. With network4events (former Editions Hippiques) he was responsible for the rules and regulations; he did the contract negotiations with the organisers, the sponsors and the TV stations. He supervised the financial aspects of the project and took care of the relations to the World Cup sponsor Volvo. He was responsible for the media and public relations and was the contact to the Jumping riders.
