World Cup Jumping: Season 1998/1999

In season 1998/1999 the World Cup Jumping had 13 leagues with a total of 102 competitions in 36 countries. The top placed of the leagues met from 21.-25.04.1999 for the World Cup Final in Göteborg (SWE).

Max E. Ammann was Director of the World Cup Jumping from 1978 to 2003. With network4events (former Editions Hippiques) he was responsible for the rules and regulations; he did the contract negotiations with the organisers, the sponsors and the TV stations. He supervised the financial aspects of the project and took care of the relations to the World Cup sponsor Volvo. He was responsible for the media and public relations and was the contact to the Jumping riders.
