Max E. Ammann writes a personal column for the Swiss weekly magazine PferdeWoche on the actualities in the national and international equestrian sport.
His 105th column with the title "Badminton und Pferdesport in Grossbritannien" was published in the edition 23 on 11.06.2014.
Anfang Mai kam der Pferdesport Grossbritanniens zweimal in die Schlagzeilen der Pferdesportpresse. Zuerst weil – zum ersten Mal überhaupt – ein Land die Nummereins-Position in allen drei olympischen Pferdesport-Weltranglisten einnahm, eben Grossbritannien. Nur ein Tag später, als beim CCI Badminton 51 der 83 Starter ausschieden, also eine Ausfallsrate von über 61 Prozent.
