Max E. Ammann writes a personal column for the Swiss weekly magazine PferdeWoche on the actualities in the national and international equestrian sport.
His 82nd column with the title "Endurance" was published in the edition 28 on 17.07.2013.
Zwei Geschichten aus der frühen Geschichte des FEI-Endurance-Sports werden immer wieder erzählt. Dazu ist zu vermerken, dass Endurance erst seit Mitte der 80er-Jahre FEI Disziplin ist. Die erste WM fand 1986 in Pratoni del Vivaro statt.
